Job Description : Al Tamimi & Company are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Treasury Specialist to join our Cash & Treasury team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Finance or Accounting, strong numerical skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional looking to develop their experience within a regional treasury function. The role will primarily support the management and control of incoming funds across our UAE offices, including receipt processing, reconciliations, investigation of unidentified payments, and coordination with banks and internal Finance, KYC and Compliance teams. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field 1–2 years’ relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, or a similar role preferred Experience with accounting systems and online banking platforms Experience with bank reconciliations would be an advantage Good Microsoft Excel skills Strong numerical and analytical skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Good communication and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Proactive and organised approach to work Duties & Responsibilities: Process, monitor, and post incoming receipts across the UAE offices, with support to other regional offices as required Manage and reconcile unallocated and unidentified funds, following up on outstanding items Track and investigate payments received without sufficient information, including unidentified and third-party payments Coordinate with KYC, Compliance, Credit Control, and other Finance teams to obtain information and clear outstanding receipts Liaise with banks regarding missing, delayed, rejected, returned, or unidentified payments and follow up through to resolution Assist with bank and receipt reconciliations, including unallocated funds and selected bank accounts Maintain accurate records and reporting for incoming funds, third-party payments, banking investigations, and outstanding actions Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and audit trails for receipt postings, investigations, and KYC clearances Support cash monitoring, reporting, banking, and other activities across the wider Cash & Treasury function Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the firm’s Finance, KYC, Compliance, and internal control procedures
